I purchased this pack for a week-long trip of long-day sight-seeing and I used it as my airline carry-on. It was perfect. I was able to organize all my essential take-alongs, and I could still carry it comfortably. Because I am short (5'1"), I did not use the waist belt -- the backpack had to be worn at its tightest fitting in order to fit between my head and my butt. But I expected that. And while the straps are "supposed" to be used for boards and such, I used it to carry a sweatshirt. Perfect! The felt-lined pocket was perfect for storing my Amazon Fire Tablet, while my iPad Pro fit along the back in the laptop sleeve. When I rolled up my extra clothes and raincoat, I was able to place them in the bottom of the main pocket and they helped the pack stand on its own whenever I set it down. One of my most important features when I was shopping for this backpack was to have a handle on the top that was NOT part of the shoulder straps. And this Mission Backpack did not let me down. The handle strap is sturdy and well sewn, and it does not interfere or hit the back of my head when the backpack is tightened on my shoulders.There are only 2 things that I would change: 1. the sunglasses pocket on the top is PERFECT for cell phones and sunglasses cases, but it makes it very difficult to get a laptop (or iPad Pro, in my case) out of the inside sleeve. Either the pocket needs to be a little more shallow, or the laptop sleeve needs to be relocated to the inside divider of the backpack instead of being against the back wall. 2. The side pockets would be much easier to access if they zipped in the other direction -- or if they expanded once opened to hold a water bottle.The colors (Willamette) are very subdued. While I normally choose bright and colorful bags and totes, this backpack made me feel more my age, and make this pack perfect for sharing with my sons or my husband when I'm not using it. I plan on keeping my eye out for accessories that match!This is my second DAKINE bag of the same model. The previous one I got 8 years ago and had some where and tear but it was well padded, made of strong material, and the stitching was tight. I left mine in another country due to unfortunate circumstances. This model is lighter, the buckles are a little looser, less padding, thinner and cheaper more plastic-like material, and weaker. Although on the positive side, it looks great and weighs less. not bad but not good. I paid around 60 for this. I think it was about 10 over priced but I'm still happy with it because i don't plan on doing any crazy traveling yet like I used to do with my previous DAKINE mission bag.I travel a lot for my job and this backpack was suggested to my by a coworker. So far, it has been a life-saver. Has plenty of space, is super comfy to wear for long periods of time, and is light-weight! I wish it had an open pocket for water bottles on the side, but that's just a preference, and otherwise, it's absolutely perfect!Great backpack. A bit big for me (130lbs, 5’ 8”) but perfect size for my husband (175lbs, 6’). We both got one. I also got the same bag but the 18 gallon which fit me perfectly for a day bag. This one I use for traveling-clothes, laptop, etc. My smaller one can’t fit the laptop, though it can fit the Xbox one x plus controllers perfectly.I carried this bag every day for two weeks while on vacation. Had tons of storage options to keep everything organized. I barely noticed it at all when walking around with it. Held everything I needed for the long plane rides and even allowed me to be a bit creative with the straps on the front and attaching my air plane pillow. Didnt show any signs of wear or distress. Dakine makes some excellent products and this is one of them.Great use for its price and size. Took it to me around the NYC and Tokyo. Only reason why I wouldn't give it a 5 star is that it is missing a water bottle holder.Great looking and well organized backpack. I don’t board though and the straps on the back look dumb so I cut them off.Impecable producto. RecimiendoIt's a really nice-looking backpack, but it doesn't have a lot of space.Pros:-Good quality material & stitching-Looks good-Waist strap - I cannot over-emphasize the importance of this. It really takes the weight off your shoulders, and makes it so much more comfortable to carry. It's the main reason I bought this backpack over a whole bunch of others.-Zippered outer side pockets - so nothing falls outCons:-You can't fit anything very wide/deep into this. I used to carry my lunch bag in my old backpack, but it barely fits into this one.-Small zippered pouch at the top (for sunglasses, etc.) is nice, but if you are carrying a laptop, it is very awkward to get the laptop underneath this pocket (which you should do, or else you have your sunglasses jabbing you in the upper back)-Chest strap - this is a real boob-smoosher, and quite uncomfortable. Probably OK if you don't have any. Or if you don't use the chest strap.Overall, it's a good quality backpack, but next time, I'd probably get a different one that's a little deeper.Dieser Rucksack ist sein teurer Preis Wert.Er hat viele kleine Taschen rundherum wo man kleine und auch größere Dinge verstauen kann. Eine kleines Handyfach, gepolsterte Gurte und Schnallen um den Bauch und an der Brust machen diesen Rucksack aus.Mein Sohn hatte Ihn beim Snowboarden dabei und es war immer alles verstaut was dabei sein musste.Top*****Après quelques semaines d'utilisation je regrette mon achat et il est trop tard pour le renvoyer, le sac est bien moins confortable que des modèles d'autres marques que j'ai pu essayer récemment dans la même gamme de prix.Le dos est complètement plat et ne compense pas la courbure du dos, extrêmement transpirant car aucunes aérations.Les deux pièces inférieurs pour le maintien de la taille sont trop petits, souples et inconfortables, sur d'autres sacs ils sont un prolongement "repose reins" et donc bien plus stables.The product is exactly as advertised, great material and very sturdy. Also is quite big and has a lot of place for all of the stuff that you want to carry. The bag also has a padded sleeve for laptop and a tablet and the color is really nice.Sehr gutes Produkt
