Reconozco que soy un comprador compulsivo de bolsas y mochilas de todo tipo. pero esta en particular me encanto, tiene unos acabados muy buenos, suficiente espacio y el color es genial.I received this bag and was excited to see it in the packaging. I had been looking for a nice grey or blue bag that wasnt "too military looking" and one i could carry some certain things that i normally use and was looking to replace an old alice mini bag that i had been using for the same thing for a very long time.My first "oh no" was after i got the packaging open and tried to open all the zippers and see how it would work. the MAIN zipper is to the laptop compartment and the pull tab had been sewn into the construction of the bag itself. Yes, sewn in. It seems on a quick quality check you would notice that when you cannot use that zipper.My second "oh no" came when i opened the outer compartment, which i assumed would have more room than it had. There are about 10 pouches and pockets of varying sizes inside. Some with zipper closures and some with a velcro flap, all made with nylon. one of these zipper pouches is four compartments with a clear front for viewing the contents.. the large compartment is one that is probably big enough for a business card, the others are significantly smaller, and this is a FLAT compartment.. What would you even put in there??As i looked around to the other pouchess and pockets, they have no rhyme or reason as to what they might be for.. so its basically a junk compartment not big enough to carry more than paper and some random crap. The flaps are not strong enough to hold anything of weight inside. So this compartment is a huge miss in my book. Its literally just for looks, and would not fit anything inside that i want or need to carry.The third "Oh no" is on the water bottle pouch on the side of the bag. It zips closed when not in use, but when you need it, you cannot actually fit a bottle all the way into the pouch so there is a good possibility you could lose the bottle if you tip the bag. I think a bottle might fit in about 6 inches, and its got to be one of those slim 20oz or 22oz tall bottles. Needless to say i will not be using it.the fourth "oh no" is in the main sleeve itself.. and this is one where it could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on what you want to use this bag for. The laptop sleeve part is where this zipper was sewn into the edge of the bag. Even without the zipper being sewn in, this zippered opening is not big enough to open the sleeve more than just the top.. it does not zip down the side at all.. It would fit about a 15 inch laptop but not much else, and if you have a charging cord you are approaching the limits of the compartment size. If you want to carry books or other things in this bag you are sorely out of luck.As good as this bag looks, its woefully non-functional as a replacement for my old pack. I am currently on the fence about sending it back or finding another use for it, but as i type this review and think about it more, i am leaning to sending it back and looking elsewhere for a better solution to my needs.the positives to this bag are the carry strap, that, even though the clips on the side look weak to me, i think its a pretty good strap and i could replace the clips if i were to use it.The structured canvas look to the bag is a huge positive.The size of the bag is what i really want to carry. So i am somewhat torn about the thought of returning it and looking more for a replacement.but really... i cannot use this for what i need to use it for. So sadly i am going to return this highly illogical mess to the manufacturer and look elsewhere for a good deal.Mortal!!!!As others have mentioned, this bag would be excellent if the straps were reinforced. I used for no more than a couple weeks and the shoulder straps frayed & snapped. Im just glad I didn't count on this while riding my motorcycle.Very good bag. Best price for a bag like this. Worth the money. Not a whole lot of space for extras unless they are flat like a notepad.It was. Gift for my husband...he loved them many pockets this bag has!A side pocket was damaged in shipping and won't open but elected to keep it anyways. Holds my Dell 15.6 laptop nicely with room for extras. Only had it a month, so can't judge durability. Looks nice though.
