The Norite (24L) is more spacious than the Arkose (20L) and offers additional ‘side access’ to grab things on the go — while the Arkose bag zips in half to fit larger items if you’re not using the camera insert. Can the backpack also be used by non-photographers? Yes, the modular layout makes it suitable for both general and specialised use. Without the camera insert, there's more space to store lunch or your workout gear, for example. What does the set include? The Norite Backpack Set includes the Norite 24L Backpack and a removable Norite Insert, which was designed specifically to fit inside the backpack. Can you use it in the rain? Yes. The fabric is made from 600D Econyl Recycled Nylon and is weatherproof to keep your gear dry while exploring outdoors. However, water could enter through the zippers in extremely heavy rain or if submerged. Can it fit a tripod? Yes. The backpack comes with straps that allow you to attach your tripod to the outside.
